A RESOLUTELY CONTEMPORARY PROFILE

A deckhouse with pronounced edges; the large side windows of the deck saloon highlighted by a natural teak stave, signature of the "Pilot Saloon" range, have been extended aft to provideoptimal visibility and abundant light on board during cruises and world tours. Opening portholes contribute to excellent ventilation. A sleek hull profile highlighted by two rectangular hull portholes.

A powerful and versatile CARENE

A HIGH-PERFORMANCE AND SAFE HULL

The hull designed by Berret-Racoupeau Yacht Design is powerful and versatile. It has been designed to face the most difficult sailing conditions. Equipped with a keel with a bulb of 2.30 meters of draft, the Pilot Saloon 58 is a boat that is stiff to the canvas and performs well at all speeds. 2 optional drafts are available: 2.10 m and 2.50 m. The rear skirt becomes a large bathing platform and facilitates access to the dinghy garage.

AN ERGONOMIC DECK PLAN

The deckhouse with its "taut" lines offers a racy style to the Pilot Saloon 58 and allows a good visibility towards the front of this large sailboat. The deck plan is clear thanks to the flush deck hatches and the return of the sheets to the cockpit. Several teak lathing options (side decks, deckhouse and front of deckhouse) allow each owner to have a livable yacht that meets his or her own use and style criteria...

A SAFE AND FRIENDLY COCKPIT

The helm station includes all the assistance necessary for short-handed cruising:
- The well-sized winches are positioned close to the helmsman,
- The mainsheet in "German system" returns to the cockpit winch,
- Two lockers are located under the helmsman's seat and two retractable footbraces have been provided for greater stability and comfort while sailing. The tender garage is accessible from the deck.

A powerful and versatile CARENE

A "PERFORMANCE" ORIENTED EQUIPMENT

Equipped as standard with well sized Andersen winches, a high performance Harken rig and a standard Dyneema rig, all the Pilot Saloon 58's equipment is sized for performance and selected for its quality and durability.22 m mast guarantees power and heading. The rig is a 9/10 type with pushing spreaders that do not require runners.

DEVELOPMENTS IN THE GREAT WAUQUIEZ TRADITION

True to the innovative concept of the "true deck saloon", the saloon is raised to guarantee optimal luminosity. Even when seated, the windows of this liveaboard sailboat offer an unobstructed view of the sea during cruises and round-the-world trips. The volumes on board have been optimized and offer truly comfortable living spaces. Between tradition and innovation, the saloon of this sailing boat is decorated with reading lights and garlands of light under the crews. The handrails around the benches are the result of a real craftsman's work to offer even more safety. The kitchen located on the port side is richly equipped.

The vast owner's cabin

COMFORT AND HABITABILITY

In this large luxury yacht, the spacious owner's cabin has an office and its own bathroom with separate shower. Large hull portholes are provided for light and large opening panels allow good ventilation of the cabin.
