AS MANEUVERABLE AS A RACING YACHT
A SAFE BET
The Centurion 57 marks the return of the mythical "Centurion" lineage to the prestige tall ship segment.
Racy, powerful, maneuverable like a racing yacht, but as comfortable, elegant and luxurious as a traditional yacht, the Centurion 57 is the quintessence of all the expertise of the French shipyard Wauquiez in the design and manufacture of luxury sailing yachts.

A HIGH-PERFORMANCE HULL
The hull of this long distance cruising yacht is powerful and versatile. Designed to endure the harshest sailing conditions, it will face the bad weather without fail. In light airs, its downwind design ensures that it will react to the slightest breeze. As the wind strengthens, the Centurion 57 will be propelled at an impressive speed for an offshore sailboat while maintaining excellent comfort. Equipped with a 2.5 meter bulb keel, the Centurion is a rigid boat of excellence that performs well at all speeds.

An effective bridge plan
The very large cockpit has been designed to be versatile: plenty of free space for efficient crew maneuvering and all the assistance necessary for single-handed sailing(electric winches as standard, lines brought back to the helm under the side decks, self-tacking system on request...). The helm station has two wheels with two ultra-modern B consoles with all the electronics available to the helmsman. An opening platform at the transom allows easy access to the dinghy garage. No compromise on the fittings

A LUXURY EQUIPMENT
Sparcraft racing mast, Harken winches and halyards, pre-stretched Dyneema sheets, retractable carbon bowsprit as standard... The richness of the equipment, selected on the sole criteria of quality and efficiency, fits perfectly into the clean lines of the deck. The Yanmar 110hp engine (with shaft line) has been chosen to power the Centurion 57. The latest generation of marine engines, the Yanmar 110hp is particularly quiet and generates little vibration. (The Volvo D3- 150hp @3000 RPM (common +rail 4-stroke, 5-cylinder) engine is optional).

A LAYOUT IN THE GREAT WAUQUIEZ TRADITION
Inside: calm, luxury, voluptuousness... If the waxed teak used on all Wauquiez since 1965 remains the dominant woodwork, other materials (leather, glass, stainless steel) give the Centurion 57 a strong and contemporary personality thanks to patient craftsmanship. Spacious, extremely bright thanks to its many large deck hatches and its two panoramic hull windows offering a view of the sea, the saloon of this ocean-going yacht is an elegant and convivial living space at anchor as well as during round-the-world voyages.
THE EQUIPMENT NECESSARY FOR LONG CRUISES
COMFORT AND SPACE
The large owner's cabin at the front of the boat has an office, plenty of storage space and its own bathroom with separate shower.
The two double cabins at the back offer an independent bathroom and allow guests to be received withall the comfort expected on board a large luxury yacht. The galley extends down to port and starboard. Richly equipped, it is equipped with all the material necessary for long cruises as well as for round-the-world trips and includes all the onboard appliances. The forward peak can hold all the sails and numerous technical equipments. It can be converted into a skipper's cabin with a water point and toilet (optional).
